Stock market: On the last day of the week, bullion rose due to heavy buying in IT stocks. At the end of today’s trade, Mumbai Stock Exchange’s Sensex closed up 105 points at 59,793 and National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed up 34 points at 17,833. While the Sensex fell 326 points from the day’s high, the Nifty fell 127 points. Sensex crossed 60,000 in morning trade. But despite all this, investors are worried about Monday’s market.

Today the market has shown a bullish trend since its inception. Bank Nifty and Nifty IT have grown at a decent rate. On this day, out of 12 shares of Bank Nifty, 9 shares closed in the green and 3 shares closed in the red. Also, apart from banking, IT, auto, FMCG, metal, oil and gas sectors, 10 out of 10 IT stocks closed in the green on Nifty. Along with this, apart from consumer goods, shares of pharma, media sector declined. Midcap and smallcap stocks also closed with gains. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 26 stocks closed in the green. Out of which 24 shares closed on red mark. At the end of the day, only 14 out of 30 Sensex stocks closed in the green. Along with this, 16 shares closed in red mark.

Looking at the day’s gainers, Tech Mahindra closed up 3.32%, IndusInd Bank 2.60%, Infosys 2.43%, HCL Tech 1.90%, Maruti Suzuki 1.83%, SBI 1.61%, TCS 1.50%, Wipro 1.50%.

Stock market: Monday looking market

Although the market saw gains on the last day of the week, investors are still worried about Monday. If Nifty breaks the resistance, you are worried about a false breakout. In this case, the market may fall again on Monday. For now, investors are trying to figure it out. If for some reason the market opens lower on Monday then investors will look for support in the Nifty index. Heavy fluctuations in IT stocks on this day may lead to selling on Monday. According to the market experts, if the market declines on Monday too, then till Diwali, Dalal Street may see a boom again. In such a situation, the Nifty index may cross 19,500.
