SBI Update: What are the rules?
There are certain rules for withdrawing money from State Bank Group ATMs. In such a situation, if the person maintains a monthly balance of up to Rs 1 lakh in the bank, then he will be able to do five free transactions.
This facility is available for ATMs in six metro cities – Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Free transactions for ATMs of other banks are limited to three.
SBI ATM Transactions: For whom are the benefits?
Earlier, the bank used to offer unlimited transactions at SBI’s group ATMs only if the minimum average monthly balance (ABM) was Rs 25,000. Presently this facility is applicable only for those customers who maintain a balance of 50,000 ABM. The number of free transactions in the metro city is now limited to three.
Changes in SBI ATM: What has changed in the transaction?
For transactions outside the bank free limit, SBI charges a transaction fee of Rs 5 to Rs 20. However, it depends on the type of transaction and the ATM. For free unlimited non-financial transactions, customers are charged Rs 5 at SBI ATMs and Rs 8 at other bank ATMs in addition to the applicable GST rate.
SBI ATM Withdrawal Charges: How Much Paise Is Deducted?
SBI ATMs charge Rs 10 for every financial transaction outside the free limit. In such a situation, in addition to the fee, GST will be charged from the customer’s account. However, if the transaction is canceled due to insufficient balance, SBI will charge Rs 20 plus GST.
SBI Charges: What are the rules for unlimited transactions?
Unlimited free transactions (financial and non-financial) are offered at SBI or other banks’ ATMs to customers maintaining a monthly balance of Rs 1 lakh or more. Also, if the bank maintains an average quarterly balance of Rs 25,000, the bank charges those debit card customers a quarterly fee of Rs 25 for SMS alerts.
