Rohit suffering from covid
Once again the Indian cricket team (Covid 19) has attacked. After Virat Kohli, this time Rohit Sharma was attacked by Corona. At the end of the second day of the practice match against Leicestershire, the Indian team came out to bat in the second innings. However, the Indian captain did not go to open with Shubman Gill. Since then the speculations of Rohit’s absence were increasing. Eventually such news came out. According to the rules, Rohit is staying in solitary confinement in the hotel room.
On Saturday, Rohit was tested for corona. The result is positive. BCCI gave this news by tweeting on Sunday morning.
UPDATE – #TeamIndia Captain Mr Rohit Sharma has tested positive for COVID-19 following a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on Saturday. He is currently in isolation at the team hotel and is under the care of the BCCI Medical Team.

Rohit played in the practice match but did not bat on Saturday. But India lost seven wickets. He scored 25 runs in the first innings. Roman Walker is out. He also started fielding on the second day.
India will play the fifth Test against England on July 1. Now the question is whether Rohit will recover before the start of the Test at Edgbaston.
